Central Districts performance in Super Smash T20:

Central Districts will be hoping George Worker, wicket-keeper Dane Cleaver and Christian Leopard to provide them a quick start once again.

Skipper Tom Bruce scored 56 runs off 34 balls against Wellington, a devastating knock that included 5 fours and 3 maximums.

Ajaz Patel has been impressive season this season and has already picked 6 wickets in 2 games – 3 in each. Blair Tickner and Ben Wheeler were also impressive with their bowling spell and each picked 2 wickets in their respective 4 overs.

Seeing the impressive form the Stags are in, there is every chance they will name an unchanged starting XI.

Northern Knights performance in Super Smash T20:

Wicket-keeper batsman Tim Seifert missed the season opener but looked set for a big total in the 2nd game against Otago Volts. However, he couldn’t convert his 24 runs innings.

He and all rounder Anton Devcich will be responsible to provide a quick start.

Meanwhile, skipper Dean Brownlie will be keen to find his form back while Brett Hampton and Joe Carter will be hoping to continue on their impressive innings from their defeat to Otago Volts. Both scored a half century.

All rounder Daryl Mitchell was injured in last game but is likely to be in the starting XI after 4 days rest. He picked 4 wickets against the Volts.

Anurag Verma picked 3 wickets in the last game and he will hope to continue his magic. Scott Kuggeleijn and Matthew Fisher both were expensive – gave away 62 runs in combined 4 overs. But will hope to turn the wind in their favour.
