EPL 2019-Arsenal vs Bournemouth

For all the fantasy football geeks out there, Starting with EPL 2019, we share prediction tips of league matches that will give them a better shot at predicting and winning.

Arsenal host Bournemouth with an aim to break into the top 3. They have somehow managed to find themselves in the top 4 so far. However, with Leicester above them, it’s not really what they would have targeted before the pre-season. Though their strikers have been in good form, they have been let down by their defence and have conceded 11 goals in 7 games, 1 less than what they have scored.

3 wins in 7 games might not sound really bad, given they have already faced Liverpool and Manchester United away and Spurs at home. However, it’s the way they have played that has left their fans in shatters. However, the struggles of Manchester United, Spurs and Chelsea means it has not been really hard on the Gunners’ fans.

In fact, their Europa League game on Thursday, with regular starters being benched or left out, looked smoother.

Meanwhile, Bournemouth are just a point behind their Sunday’s opponents and a surprise win can send them in the top 4, given how the league has unfolded so far.

Squads and Predicted Lineups:

Arsenal at EPL 2019

Unai Emery has plenty of options at full-back after both Kieran Tierney and Hector Bellerin played the full 90 minutes in the win over Standard Liege, though the Gunners boss may resist the temptation to have them play two games in the space of three days.

Alexandre Lacazette and Emile Smith Rowe sit out through injuries.

Dani Ceballos could come into the side that started the 1-1 draw at Manchester United, while Calum Chambers may continue at right-back.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who has been in scintillating form, is expected to lead charge in the 4-2-3-1 formation.

Probable line-up:

Bernd Leno; Sead Kolasinac, David Luiz, Rob Holding, Calum Chambers; Matteo Guendouzi, Granit Xhaka; Bukayo Saka, Dani Ceballos, Nicolas Pepe; Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Bournemouth at EPL 2019

Harry Wilson is a doubt for Bournemouth, and his absence would be a massive blow for the Cherries, with Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld in line for a first start of his Bournemouth career.

Ryan Fraser is also a doubt through illness.

David Brooks, Dan Gosling, Junior Stanislas, Chris Mepham, Charlie Daniels and Adam Smith sit out the trip to Arsenal.

Eddie Howe may resist making wholesale changes to the side that drew 2-2 with West Ham. He is likely to deploy a 4-4-2 formation.

Probable line-up:

Aaron Ramsdale; Jack Stacey, Steve Cook, Nathan Ake, Diego Rico; Joshua King, Philip Billing, Jefferson Lerma, Arnaut Groeneveld; Callum Wilson, Dominic Solanke.

EPL 2019: Arsenal vs Bournemouth prediction:

1-     Arsenal have won all five of their home matches against Bournemouth in all competitions (four in the Premier League, one in the League Cup). Don’t expect them to drop points at home at this time in the EPL 2019, given they have lost just 1 of their last 21 Premier League games at home.

2-     Bournemouth have taken only four points from eight English Premier League matches against Arsenal. Something, they might struggle at once again.

3-     The Gunners have shipped 2 goals in their last 2 home matches, last doing so in three consecutive home games in December 2012. However, their defensive woes, coupled with Bournemouth’s attacking records- they have scored more than Arsenal this season, makes it possible.

4-     Both teams have scored in each of Bournemouth’s seven Premier League games so far this EPL 2019. It will probably stretch to another game, if not more.

5-     Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson is looking to score in 5 consecutive league games for the 1st time in 5 and a half years. Given his record against Arsenal- three goals in 4 Premier League appearances, he might be able to achieve this feat.

6-     Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could become the first Arsenal player to score 8 goals in the Gunners’ first 8 games in a Premier League season in 22 years.

7-     Arsenal have scored at least 2 goals in 12 of their last 13 home matches in the league and might do so once again.
