English Premere League Match Prediction (EPL 2019): West Ham vs Arsenal
December 10, 2019,
For all the fantasy football geeks out there, we share prediction tips of league matches that will give them a better shot at predicting and winning. Starting with EPL 2019.
Arsenal caretaker manager Freddie Ljungberg is still searching for his first win as the Gunners travel to face West Ham in the Premier League on Tuesday. A series of bad results has seen the Gunners drop to 10th in the Premier League Table and another negative result, against the 15th placed Hammers, might make it more difficult for them.
Meanwhile, West Ham couldn’t build on their 1-0 win away to Chelsea last weekend and lost 2-0 at Wolves in midweek. A defeat might see them drop down in the relegation zone as they start the gameweek just 2 points clear of the 18th placed Everton.
West Ham had won the corresponding fixture last season.
After a thumping win in the Carabao Cup, Chelsea host Brighton & Hove Albion FC side, who are unbeaten in their last 2 matches, in their Premier League clash as they look to shake off their shaky start and improve upon their position – they are currently ranked 11th. Chelsea will also be aiming to get their first home league win of the season.
West Ham’s performance in EPL 2019:
Robert Snodgrass is a doubt after coming off injured in the defeat to Wolves in midweek.
Michail Antonio faces a late fitness test after missing out at Wolves in midweek with a slight groin problem. Antonio will replace Sebastien Haller up front if he recovers in time.
Elsewhere, look for Issa Diop to return to the team, while Pablo Zabaleta is also an option at right-back.
Former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is back in training and could also be involved after a groin problem but Lukasz Fabianski (torn hip muscle) and Manuel Lanzini (fractured collarbone) are still sidelined.
Arsenal’s performance in EPL 2019:
Dani Ceballos is the only confirmed absentee for Arsenal as they seek a first win in nine games. The Spain midfielder is still missing with a hamstring issue, which is expected to keep him sidelined for at least another week.
Rob Holding has not featured in the last three games as he is eased back to full fitness following a slight knee problem but could be in contention to return.
Hector Bellerin returned to the starting XI in Thursday’s 2-1 defeat at home to Brighton after overcoming a hamstring issue.
Kieran Tierney has not started Ljungberg’s first two games in charge and Arsenal fans will be desperate to see him from the off on Monday.
Look for Matteo Guendouzi to start here, while some changes in attack are required.
